We recommend you protect this with a removable wool moisture pad just in case your pet has a little accident or is just plain dirty from all that outdoor playing. Shredded natural rubber creates a bed that conforms to your pets unique shape each time he/she lays down supporting the body. The outer cover is included and can be removed to machine wash as well as the inside. Each of the 2 inside cells can be easily thrown in the washer and dryer for complete cleaning. Other natural fiber beds are unable to be thoroughly cleaned in this simple manner.
